This Artwork shows the beauty behind Indigenous bush burning. It's a practice that involves setting small, frequent, and low-intensity fires on the land when required.

This helps improve the health of the land and its people by reducing the risk of fire, encouraging new regrowth, protecting native wildlife, reducing scrub and fuel, and promoting biodiversity.

One side of the Artwork represents the vibrant greenery found up north on the coast of WA, with tracks left behind by the wildlife that live there. The other side, in black and grey tones, represents the aftermath of the bush burning.

The gum tree's flowers and leaves symbolise resilience, healing, and protection. It can survive in harsh conditions and is believed to adapt to the environment around it. The footprints in the middle with the travel lines next to them show one's journey to visiting family and loved ones with the sun shining down on them and the land.

Comes ready to hang, with a signed Certificate of Authenticity. Please take care when hanging this piece and ensure it stays out of direct sunlight.

Shipping within Australia is free, and international shipping rates will be confirmed after purchase.
